Since 1998 I have been working on a body of creative research that explores the intricate and fluid margins of memory and identity and addresses the complex nature of interpersonal connections. Drawn from my rural upbringing, the work is based on social and familial constructs, and questions and illuminates shared identity and individual autonomy.

Understanding the affects and significance of my rural western upbringing has become increasingly important in my creative research. My latest series of prints investigates my own attempts to find a comfortable sense of place, while simultaneously questioning concepts of origin and heritage.
